Minot Technologies, LLC and Lease Administration Solutions, LLC have announced the awarding of the LeaseSmith development contract to Minot. Code named LeaseSmith, the application will allow lease administrators to analyze the terms and audit the structures of commercial leases. The system will enable lease administrators to thoroughly review occupancy costs, track lease options and rights, and identify critical areas where over-billing occurs. Initial development will focus on the support of outsourced lease administration requirements, as well as an Application Service Provider (ASP) model by which the application may be purchased and hosted on a secure LeaseSmith web server. Lease Administration Solutions was founded in 1998, and provides lease abstracting, administration, auditing, and dispute negotiation and resolution services.
